| It doesn't look that bad to me, although those alloys are hideous.
And Kraze, the Impala is my second car. I wrecked my first car.

| Even more of a reason to forget about "tuning" an Impala and save your money 'till you're in your 20s and get a nice entry sports car or a low mileage used car. | |

| If anything, I just want to clean it up and add the sport wing. The car's rusty in a few spots and needs paint. And frankly, I always liked the Chevy wings on those things. | |

| I dont get why you keep buying these massive ass cars, you should be buying a nice 3 door hatch or something. Hell, you could have gotten a 2011/2012 Ford Fiesta for around 5 to 6k. A car which will give you better gas mileage, has a 5 star euro ncap crash safety rating (that is the best rating by the way), more fun to drive at its limit. Oh, and would probably be cheaper on insurance for you. And isn't an ugly ass version of the Impala. (note I said version, as I happen to like the old 60's versions of the Impala). Still, it is your money and I hope you enjoy your new car.
p.s: a 1.6litre N/A euro box would beat that thing off the line lol...... and round a track.

| I only buy these cars because they're what I need (Practical four-doors) and I'm an awfully tall person (Six feet tall) so I need something that fits me too. I did happen to get the Impala for $3,800 (£2430.26) and couldn't find another car in the same condition for under $8,000. | |

Where was you looking? as I found a shit ton of listings in the USA for that Fiesta price range I posted up, and those are for the 2011/2012 model. so around 2 years old, 3 at most. If you went back as far as the 2008/2009 model, it should be at least $1000 cheaper than what I posted up. My bf is at 6.1, and he fits comfortably into the front of a ford fiesta with room to spare (legs and head). Don't be confused into thinking a 3 door hatch doesn't have much room, even the old grande punto i had could house someone 6 foot in the back. I am 5,7, and the person was sat behind my seat. Hatchbacks are also practical, always have been. Sure you cant fit a full sized wardrobe into one, but then you cant in that Impala either. Would need a Volvo estate for that, or a van lol. Even if you felt the Fiesta was too small for you, they do sell the gen1 Focus in the USA also. Not to mention an abundance of Honda's and Acura's. USA pricing doesn't scale into GBP very well (regardless of exchange rate). What has cost you 3,800 USD, would probably cost us in the uk upwards of 4,500GBP+. Just look at the pricing of computer components, Iphones, Games consoles, and so on. Even games are more expensive. GTA5 on X1 is $59.99 in USD, so by the exchange rate it should be at £38.37GBP. It is in fact at £49.99, so that would be $78USD. Like I said to you before though, I hope you enjoy your new car. I just think you could have done a shit ton better, and got something more sporty in the process.

| I honestly could have gone for something sportier if I got paid better. I'm at minimum wage and work less than 20 hours a week so I barely get 150 dollars a month. My budget was essentially about 3500 dollars tops for the loan payments. I could have done better but I'm happy with what I got.
At least the Impala has a nice-sounding V6 in it.

| Yeh, about that. The engine is a little on the weak side isn't it? We was able to get 180bhp from a 3litre V6 back in the 1960's, so why is your new cars power output so low? | |

| It's an American car, you know us Americans aren't that good at getting.power out of our big block engines.
I'll be sure to fix it within reason.

I'll be sure to fix it within reason. Well thats a load of horse shit right there, lol. Americans get plenty of power out of a V8, so I dont get why they cant with a V6 or smaller engine. In Europe we are able to get that from 1.4 litre straight-4.

| I'm not sure why else the V6 would have so little power. Maybe emissions standards? It has reasonable torque. | |

| My 300ZX has a 3.0L V6 and it makes 220hp (at least it did 25 years ago) even without the turbos. Based Japan. | |
