The attack on titan anime goes more in depth on select characters and scenes as fillers while the manga gets straight to the point. You only get the filler feel in the recruiting arch

And Strawberry, is your avatar from an anime or something else?
I found it somewhere on the internet and saved it because a strawberry was in it, lol.

There was this lull in AoT from episodes 8-10 or something that had terrible pacing. Pretty much the only bad thing i've found with the adaptation. It's definitely worth watching it if you like the manga.

I take that back, the training arch was a flashback after the battle of trost unlike the anime. Not that it changes any perspective, the anime is following the manga pretty well.
@Strawberry, Fillers is why i like taking short breaks from airing anime. Im sure if you were to marathon 6-12 it wouldnt have been as that bad. We could've done with out the training arch but without it you wouldnt have as much depth with in the other characters like jean and reiner. The anime being in chronological order, i felt more of the struggle from everyone during the battle of trost after seeing the training arch.

I should be mad that they added unnecessary filler but my mind is blown and I can't stop laughing
Those guys must have practiced that for months. They can rest in peace knowing that if it was any other titan, it would have been thoroughly dumbfounded as to what the hell is going on.
Thank you animators
