| WANGAN RULES
Any tire grade is allowed, as the two or more drivers in the battle can decide what tires they all should use.
The default tire of choice is Racing Softs.
The course for battle is Special Stage Route 7.
Any car is allowed with the exception of the Red Bull X2010, X2011, and X2014 fan cars.
Nitrous is banned.
Cars are indexed by top speed in two divisions: D1, which is from 100 to 200 MPH, and D2, which is 200 to 300+.
Within these divisions are ranks, and here's the rankings:
D1
F: 100-110 MPH
E: 110-120 MPH
D: 120-130 MPH
C: 130-140 MPH
B: 140-150 MPH
A: 150-160 MPH
S: 160-170 MPH
SS: 170-180 MPH
R: 180-190 MPH
X: 190-200 MPH
D2
F: 200-210 MPH
E: 210-220 MPH
D: 220-230 MPH
C: 230-240 MPH
B: 240-250 MPH
A: 250-260 MPH
S: 260-270 MPH
SS: 270-280 MPH
R: 280-290 MPH
X: 290-300+
I've done some testing to index the Vision GT cars and here's what I have so far:
Infiniti VGT: D1/R
Chaparral 2X VGT: D2/A
Nissan VGT: D2/E
VW VGT: D2/E
VW VGT SS: D2/E
Mitsubishi VGT: D1/X
Mazda LM55 VGT: D2/S

| Why not more than 700hp? And concept cars shouldn't be ok IMO. I'd say no top speed over 215mph to keep it realistic. | |

Well, would 230mph be sensible? And not more than 700 HP because some cars (Supra RZ in particular) can achieve 290-300 MPH speeds with 850 HP. Maybe create different classes for road cars and concept cars? | |

The Auto Union streamliner (1937) can hit 291 with 700-something HP. And correction: 936 HP in the Supra (just checked) | |

| So I have an idea:
The cars are catergorized by their top speeds on SSR7.
What I mean is, even though a car can hit 290 on SSRX, they're limited on Route 7 by the road itself.
Ex: Audi 4.2 R8 can go 281 on SSRX, gets stuck at 256-260 on SSR7. | |
