Initial D is owned and copyrighted material, your youtube channel will be red flagged and possibly shut down for good if not taken off. The only time any time of copyrighted material can be used is if fits under the category of a parody that shows proper ownership of the original material which in this case it does not. In this case, the material is subbed, youtube only acknowledges parodies if they are dubbed with an outside source. A good example is Team Four Star who dubs DBZ in to comedy, stating who owns the contents in the very beginning and does not make any money off of it.
Think of it this way, hardworking people put time and effort in to producing it, now you're claiming its yours and that is WRONG..
Yeah I get that But think about it, There were people who uploaded videos of fifth stage when it was just airred and their videos are still up today There were a few people who got their videos taken down but some have not
Either way, if I said I don't own anything and all material belongs to it's owner shouldn't that be fine? And if I do get a copyright notice, my channel wouldn't go down entirely, it's a three strike system if I remember correctly

That does not mean you should follow a bad example if everyone else is doing it. How about i download all your videos and re upload them on my youtube page and not give credit?? Its the same thing and that would piss anyone off who takes pride in their work.
Do you know the statistics of how much content is uploaded everyday on youtube? Every minute 100 Hours of video is uploaded and he only way for the video to be taken down by copyright infringement is if the owner themselves file and submit the complaints. Now check this out, access to youtube in japan is completely different than it is here making it harder for them to search things not to mention, they don't use the "qwerty" keyboard layout for typing like we do.
You put work in to your videos to a dedicated channel where it all links up right? You're putting strikes on your personal channel where you have worked for a name and subscribers. BTW giving credit in the "about" section does not mean anything if its not labeled in the video. Those other guys uploading have nothing to lose and will just make another account for when that one gets banned.
I don't know why you even took the time to upload it, youre not a producer/owner and you didnt fan sub anything. The guys who fan sub everything do this on a daily basis and upload their work which is then distributed to anime stream websites and they know better than to upload it to youtube.
All i see here is that you are trying to take advantage of someone else's content just to get views and subscribers for your youtube channel.

No, it does not work that way. There is no way you are legally able to post this video on youtube because you are not acknowledged by the owners of Initial D or the studio that produces it regardless if you give credit or not. Like i said before, this video does not fall under "free use" because it is not considered a parody.

Yea im pretty sure I saw the happy tree friends video about that lol So there is no real way to get ANY initial d scene and incorporate it as your own? And if you do you need a citation?

You could try, but I think they will decline. I would just take that video off your channel before you get greeted by the Happy Tree Friends Copyright School.

And towards the topic of shinji humming: I believe that was his way to show that he thinks touge battles are games Surprisingly, it had nothing to do with his "rhythm"

That was a much better ending, glad they gave us more closure than the manga did. I was really impressed compared to most of fifth stage.
Spoiler:
Initial D was a 19 year long ad for the GT86 lol.

What seems crazy is that my cousin introduced me to Initial D after 2nd stage, which means I have been watching for over 10 years now. Thats pretty ridiculous that for nearly half my life I have been watching this show.
