Touge Union World Tour Series (Cancelled)

Good day, and welcome to Touge Union's World Tour, hosted by Obelisk!

RULES:
Only stock GT500 cars fron 2008 allowed.
All vehicles are limited to Racing: Hard tyres
Nitrous is forbidden.
Assists:  Only ABS is allowed, and that is restricted to 2 or less.
Additionally, once a driver has selected a car, nobody else can use it unless the original driver switches cars in between rounds.

Tracks:
All World Track locations will be used, but selected by random lottery before every qualifier.

Event Dates:
The race date will be announced a week prior to race day (Sunday).
Two qualifiers will be held on the Friday and Saturday before the race to ensure all drivers have their times posted.

Race day:
Drivers will have a practice session fifteen minutes befire the race, then the race will laumch from a standing start.

Video:  If permitted, replays can be recorded and edited for viewing by the community.

There aren't any more restrictions? Just 710 PP? We can use any race cars? Even LMP1 cars can fit into that category. If this will take place in the next 2 weeks then I probably won't have enough money to even have a car of that caliber ready.

I won't either. I'm pretty much broke in GT6.

I won't start the event or announce a race until everyone has a car set up.

Kraze, aren't most LMP1 cars over 710pp?

Not only are all LMP1 cars below 710 PP but also all of the 240mph Group C Le Mans cars too.  The only cars in the entire game that have a PP higher than 710 are the Red Bull X cars and the Formula GT.

We're talking 5 million dollar racecars.  Ain't no way I can get that much money in less than 3 weeks especially since I have to start the game from scratch again.

Kraze, I'm not gonna hold the event until everyone that registers has a car.

Just saying don't expect many people to sign up because no one really has that kind of money. That or prepare to wait weeks for people to get ready.

In Forza 4 it would be the class equivalent of X999.

Jeeeeeezus, what was I thinking? Do you guys want me to roll it back to 650?

It would be better to limit the class of car as well as the PP. An LMP1 car racing a 70s Chaparral is not exactly a balanced race.
Something like stock GT500 cars or GT3 cars would be a lot better IMO

GT500 definitely. It's the easiest to classify and there are many in the game.

You can't upgrade these racecars. Stock GT500 is fine. They're all around 580 PP

Yeah, I advise keeping it simple to begin with, if you had LMP cars then you could set a weight and power limit.

I did an endurance on GT6 at Le Mans where it was Group C cars and there was only a weight limit, the more power you ran the more fuel your car would drink so you would have to chose either the extra power and extra pit stop or less power and less pit stops.

Good fun, a GT500 championship sounds good, but beware that certain cars are quicker than others so I would suggest Ballast Penalties after each race.

I've not heard of those.
