 Better speed vs Better handling ?

I have a Miata Mx-5 Gen 1 with 200 hp and weighs just over 2,000 with 6.2 handling, 6.5 braking is that good for touge ?

When building a car for touge handling parts and parts that shed weight always comes first, focus on power last, on the mountain grip beats grunt
