The 4wd factor is why I thought S700 would be a good limit, because reguardless your going to need up the power a bunch in any drivetrain. The only drivetrain I see not being competitive at that level is FF

^Are there even FFs that can hit S class?

And...How does the sign-up work?

Registration will be up tomorrow. I added a different poll to the thread so make sure you vote, every vote counts! I personally think A600 will have the most tune-able Japanese cars and more competitive fwd and rwd in comparison to awd cars. The most votes by the end of the day will be the final class chosen.

I voted S700, I will just clarify why I'm voting that choice.

A class - Will just force everyone who wants to be competitive to be in 4wd car. You can use FFs, FRs, MR's but only a very select few will compete with 4wd

S650 - I suspect a few FRs and MRs could compete but ultimately it will still be a 4wd fest.

S700 - Levels the playing field a little bit, pretty much every drivetrain is usuable however FFs will be rare to be competitive, but everything else will have a good shot.

Either way I'll won't be using 4wd, but I figured since this is a new idea we can use classes we don't use, I mean we use A class all the time.

I'm probably gonna drop in with an FR or 4WD, but I was hoping to do S700 so I could use my Top Secret Supra or Mine's GT-R.

FRs can be more competitive than 4WDs in S class IF they were already supercars. There aren't any JDM RWDs who would do well in S class besides the NSX-R GT. If it were A class I think my NSX and FD could take on some Evos and GT-Rs. S650 might still allow RWDs to be slightly competitive since their accelerations would be ridiculous enough to make 4WDs look slow but not so much that it will make them undrivable.

I would go for S650.

I think you said something a while ago about the S2K being a monster at 650.

It all depends on the rules you are going to go for really, because in A class on a circuit RWD is usually best. If you allow drive train swaps, then an impreza RWD swapped with the right build and tune will run circles around an Evo for instance. The Nissan GTR RWD swapped in S class is also a very good car, I have won a lot of online races in S class with it; its one of my favorite S class hopper cars.

You pretty much need to talk about these 3 things, especially the latter 2; as they can and usually do give RWD and RWD swapped cars the edge on a circuit.

What is the max tire upgrade you can use?

Are drive train swaps permitted?

Is the use of forza aero allowed?

It's still open, maybe it doesn't let you vote because you voted for the last poll. If that's the case just post what class you want to run.

I think Forza aero should be allowed since we are racing and I would like to see everyone drive their cars at their full potentials. Drivetrain swaps should be fine and I want this to be a fun event not a "gotta check everyone's tire width" race.

All of that ^^^ is not set in stone, if you guys think differently please speak up.

There isn't any way to check tire compounds and I don't want a cheater to win by being the only one with race tires so I'd say allow it. By getting race tires you are gaining PI you could have used in more power or something else.

Ah so if you use it you basically ruin the fun...
