| But also, the rule was aimed at tuner cars. | |

| But I just explained it to you, If the car wasn't sold to the public at all, then it can't possibly qualify as a production vehicle. A car needs to have sold 30 units before it becomes a production car. This affects all concept cars and "tuner" brand cars as there is typically only one of them in the world that wasn't sold to the public. | |

| Right, right. So we're banning tuners and concepts? | |

| Basically, yes. If you're unsure as to whether you would be able to run a car I'm sure someone somewhere will be able to clear it up. | |

| I will be wiping all of the leaderboard entries that contain tuner cars / non-production cars in the next leaderboard refresh. | |

| Hey, if you guys have a minute, consider this idea:
So, instead of outright banning every tuner and concept, why not use a competitive system like Smogon carries?
Here's how it would work: At each PP on the leaderboard, there is a sorting system for every car put through that tier. Any cars that are ridiculously fast, or below a set time (7:20 for 500, 7:25 for 480 and 7:30 for 430, or whatever is considered to be impossibly quick.)
Any cars faster than this time is classified as an über, and basically banned from racing other cars below that rating, and are not allowed on the leaderboards. Any other cars that have a solid time and ability will be marked as Overused/common. Any cars that are slower are uncommon, and any cars that are hopelessly slow are rarely used.

| So, does this mean that if I get a fast time with a car on the leaderboards, I will be banned and not allowed to race slower racers?
Or, does this mean that the cars themselves will be placed in groups? Like, for example, Bill gets a 7:23 in a GTR. Does that mean Johnny cannot race that GT-R with other people of his lower skill level due to the fact that someone got a 7:23 in the GTR?
I can understand this (I hope), but I personally think it's better to just ban the concepts and tuners. It's not because of you, Obelisk, it's because it's a better way of handling things, it syncs with GT Planet's standards, and it makes things more realistic.

| Well, great. Can't hold out much longer. I'm just gonna take the banlist as it is. But shouldn't we have an actual list thread on the forum? | |

| I for one am against banning any cars before even trying all of them out. The LB on Forza made it easier for us to know which single cars were faster than the rest like the Lotus but there's no such thing in GT. Either test most of the eligible "tougeble" cars or forget about grabbing a banhammer. | |

| I understand, KraZe, and I have plans on buying some tuner cars and testing them out. I just don't have any money right now. | |

| We'd be here forever testing them as there is 1200 cars. | |

| I agree with KraZe, Me and Kona already talked about testing a few before we went ahead and banned certain ones. We got to see the capabilities first! | |
