[Cancelled] Konasumi VS Betadood

Rules
We run one lap around the course.
Whoever is in the lead at the end wins the round.
We will do a best of three for the battle.
There will be a leader and a chaser.
When the round is over, the positions swap.

Upgrades
No less and no more than 500PP. ( If you want to do 430PP instead, that's fine )
Tire compound must be sport hard.
Nitrous is prohibited.
No race cars.
Pre-tuned sports cars are allowed.
Aero parts are allowed.

I would like to create a YouTube video for this battle. I would like to post this on YouTube to gather attention towards GT6 touge battles and to create new content for the Street Version YouTube. If you agree to me making the video, I will make it no matter what the outcome is for the battle. It will be in a format similar to your battle against KraZe.

Livestream
If someone would like to livestream this battle on Twitch or Hitbox that would be fine with me. I would like to hear what Betadood thinks of this before anyone does it. I can't do it because I don't have the hardware capable of streaming.

Sounds good, I need to decide on if I want to do 500pp or 430pp though. One question though, does best of three mean that there are no tie rounds in this battle?

There are no ties in this battle. Either you win the round, or you lose the round.

If we finish the track at the same time and get the exact same time, the win will go to the chaser.

That seems like the leader would be at a huge advantage though. I know there are no ways to tell distance apart like there is in Forza so setting it up like that isn't going to work, but maybe there are some better options here? Like a checkpoint or something?

How do you think a checkpoint system would work for a battle like this?

Maybe use the time gap as a gauge?  +/- 2 seconds usually works.

Doesn't the Ring have like 12 checkpoints?

Why does GT6 have to be so frustrating to set anything competitive up on lol. I don't really have any ideas, a 2 second gap sounds about as good as anything I guess. Is this going to be at night or during the day?

I would prefer for it to be daytime.

Awww come on! What better way to show off GT6 than with night racing! Unless the headlight disappearing glitch is still there, but I thought they patched that out.

I feel like the race would be closer at 500pp, but I still want to use my 86 at 430pp. Is that okay?

That's perfectly fine with me.

Betadood, I think if there are only two cars on the road the lighting should be normal. We can race in the dark then.

There's no reason really to do touge in this game without the Course Maker. PD better hurry it the fuck up.
