WARNING GIANT WALL OF TEXT INCOMING
Since Forza 5 has been confirmed for a 2013 release and the possibly the next gen Xbox (???) Lets talk about what we want for the game. Let me start the list. What do you want to see for the next Forza Motorsport Game?

More cars ( JDM )
More Mountains
More Visual Customization ( mirrors, more spoilers, headlights, steering wheel)
More Rims
Get Rid of the invisible walls on Fuji Evil or Very Mad
Better Lighting
Better Crash Physics
More Performance Upgrades
More Multiplayer Slots
More Multiplayer Gametype Improvements ( i.e No Damage without ai / custom spawns )
More Turbo sounds
Less Lag
More Replay Cameras ( kind of like a debug camera )
Better Music Selection
Less DLC ( make it worth it with better cars T10 )
Less Glitches
Less Online Hackers ( i.e money hacking, level hacking etc. )
D1GP Cars ( We need more than that S15 that sounds like a weedwhacker )
Driver Customization ( gloves, suit, helmet )
More Layers to paint with
Mute Option in Online Lobbies
Better Voice Quality
BETTER FORUM.
Less DLC notifications
More than 100 spots in club
Set custom labels for club members ( i.e member turned into racer )
Custom playercards
Blinkers
Headlights
Night Time
Paint on windows
Tire lables
Open the hood
3D Engine rendering
Better Campaign

I know there is much more but I might add on to it.

Basically the better parts of GT5 and the better parts of Forza 4, throw some more mountain passes in there and bam! Perfect Game!

I'll be happy if they just include night racing on Fujimi Kaido. I'm worried they'll include night racing but only on a handful of tracks. Not to add more to your wall of expectations or anything, but I would also like to be able to adjust the weather on the track.

Custom playercards shouldn't be too hard to implement, considering the livery editor is already fantastic. 3D engine rendering is a massive undertaking that barely even matters in my opinion. If they took the time and effort to recreate every single car's engine in Forza 4, we'd be waiting for Forza 5 for an eternity.

I can think of a lot of people who think that the paint shop is rubbish. They need to fix the crap morphing issues, and dead zones.

Make AWD more competitive.
More old school and new school jdm cars, wide body, better aero options, more mountains, weather and night time, more tuning adjustment!

1. ECU tuning, e.g. adjusting fuel ratios, ignition timing, Rev cut, boost pressure(affects PI), fuel injection, E-throttle advancements.

Imagine tuning your ecu after upgrading your engine. There will be a default tune if you don't want to fiddle with things. But if you mess something up like ignition timing, it will have adverse effects. But you could tune the engine to suit your style better.

2. More touge tracks, e.g. hakone, haruna, akagi, myogi etc.

There will be a lot more touge teams specializing on their track, the touge community will grow HUGELY from this= T10 gets more money to fill up their swimming pool.

3. Ability to set time and weather, or at least rain/clear with night/day

Who wouldn't want to race on a dark wet road? Wait a minute..

4. Kei cars, cappuccino, Honda beat etc.

No explanation needed.

5. Window decals

Should have it by now but if you spam your windscreen be prepared to drive blind tongue

If at least 3 of these make it, I swear Polyphony Digital will go broke.

Personally I would just need night racing and weather, mostly night racing though. Not just cosmetically, night racing would change the way we play forza. Landmarks would be harder to see and with that we would have to memorize the track more. Of course this could all go out the window if nighttime is too bright in forza 5. One thing is for sure though, if night racing is done right I think we should force the driving line off. Just for professional races of course, no need to make people discouraged about night racing. I just think that with the added element of course knowledge that night racing brings, we could add another layer of depth that touge racing could bring.

another great thing would be interior customization kinda like in midnight club LA or Import Tuner Challenge I loved that and with the FM 5 graphics that would look pretty sick as well.

And then the usual:
Nighttime (pitch dark of course)
Weather (including snow)
more Mountains (with longer roads)
more JDM (2JZ swapped Toyota chaser, or a real levin would be IT)
maybe some ingame tutorial on what effect all the tuning options have to make it easier for people to get into the whole tuning deal
more wheels
more body kits
when modding the engine they could show the engine bay so you can see the changes done to it
blinkers
high beams

guess that would be enough for now Wink

Yeah I saw a gameplay video on youtube of that game Import Tuner Challenge where its actually like that and the commentator kinda infected me with that idea since he mentions it a few times himself and i thought like "damn that guy's so right" Smile

Sorry to come in here and kill the joy but its still going to be forza witch probably will concentrate performance so lots of customization like interiors will probably not be something they will do. I just hope they do bring their. A game on this 1 and bring out a bunch of new stuff and not make it a forza 4.2 or it won't even be worth my money. ( and fix the tire smoke! Looks like tire smoke from a ps2 game)

I think i posted this before but we NEED the levin 86 and the 2-door versions as well. Plus it would be good if yo could make them solid colored for livery aso

And redoin ALL car models from scratch is what i expect from a probably next-gen forza game
