According to this guy if you buy the $24.99 version from the website you get both the original rFactor + the Steam version so buy the original anyways.

My cruddy laptop can run rFactor at 60 FPS, so it shouldn't be an issue for you.

A little expensive for a game made like an pre-alpha launch
But it still rly good, simulation is well done on the SP mod (for drifters), but you must find a comunity specialise at the game to be sure you do things well (cause if you think you can launch the game like a gt5 or a Forza, you'll be chocked )
sry for the up, hope ppl will play on it for some party ^^
Sorry if I'm necro-bumping, but since the original BNB was founded by Smooth, I figured he'd know. Why is registration disallowed on the website? Thanks in advance.
So just for the record you can't use a controller from an Xbox, or a computer controller in general? Seems like a really awesome game, is it possible to hve more than 2 players on the mountain at a time?

I use a usb 3rd party Xbox controller, and it works fine. And yes, you can even have roughly 50 players on the same server. Hell, I've seen servers with 80 man endurance races.
The max is like 126 i think. Also does anyone want to run some touge on rfator? you can download lots and lots of passes. Just have to all run the same mods or the game will crash in multiplayer.
